BANGKOK — The Talitha Kum Thailand team conducted an awareness workshop for Primary 6 (Prathom 6) students at Assumption Convent Silom School on September 10, equipping young learners with critical skills to navigate online dangers, safeguard personal dignity, and prevent human trafficking.

The workshop focused on three interconnected pillars:
⚬ Recognizing and Preventing Human Trafficking: Facilitators demystified trafficking, showing students how exploitation takes root and explaining common tactics traffickers use to deceive or coerce young people.
⚬ Upholding Human Dignity and Boundaries: The team led discussions on self-worth, mutual respect, and bodily integrity, reinforcing that every individual possesses inherent value and that recognizing personal boundaries is essential to staying safe.
⚬ Tackling Cyber Threats: With digital grooming and online scams on the rise, trainers highlighted practical digital safety measures—such as managing privacy settings, identifying suspicious contacts on social media, resisting manipulation, and knowing when to ask trusted adults or educators for help.

Through age-appropriate activities, case examples, and group discussions, the students gained practical tools to identify red flags and protect both themselves and their peers.
